The grapes for its wines are grown in the famous McLaren Vale region of South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula – known as one of Australia’s most highly regarded wine producing districts. This picturesque region with its Mediterranean-like maritime climate is renowned for the pre-eminent quality of its red wines and in particular its shiraz wines, which are typically full-bodied, rich and mouth-filling.
Willunga Creek Wines proudly uphold the winemaking traditions of the region, and in just a few short years has garnered an enviable reputation for itself amongst professional wine scribes and amateur wine lovers alike.

The Willunga Creek range of wines is relatively small in number – but in no way are they small in flavour.
Rich, intense, concentrated, dense and persistent are all adjectives used by professionals when assessing their wines. So are attractive, elegant, supple, smooth and easy-drinking. And they are talking about the same wines. One thing is certain – each and every wine under the Willunga Creek label is as good as they could make it. Each wine represents the honest flavours and characters they derive from the individual variety as it is grown on their very own patch of McLaren Vale.
They are proud of their vineyards and the quality of the grapes they produce – and prouder still of the magnificent wines that result from them.
The two distinct series under the Willunga Creek label are the Artwork Collection and the Black Duck range.
