Vitor fruit is grown in Australia's premium fruit growing regions - the Riverland of South Australia, the Sunraysia district on the borders of Victoria and New South Wales and in sub-tropical Queensland. Citrus fruit comes from the Riverland, the Sunraysia and the Burnett and Emerald regions in Queensland.
Avocados and persimmons are grown in these areas under carefully controlled conditions which simulate tropical micro climates but with the benefit of the relatively insect free semi-arid enviroment. Mangoes and some citrus are grown in Queensland where the sub-tropical conditions produce high quality.
Vitor Marketing has ISO 9002 quality accreditation and has a strong quality management structure for all products packed and sold under its brand. Vitor's accreditation under ISO 9002 also incorporates the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) where the risks to product safety and poor quality have been identified.
