Scion Vineyard & Winery is innovative, creative, interesting and different. They are one of the newest Rutherglen wineries - a small boutique producer with a focus on quality and personal touch.

Their vineyard is strictly boutique with only eight acres including Durif, Viognier, Brown Muscat and Orange Muscat. Fine wine begins in the vineyard, from careful soil management and limited irrigation to hand-pruned and hand-picked, basket-pressed grapes. The focus is on high quality fruit.
The grape varieties are primarily French in origin, from the Rhône Valley and southern France. They are especially suited to warm climate viticulture and their ability to produce interesting, individual wines. They create wines which complement food, rather than dominate it.
