The Sara Lee Bakery Plant was built at Gosford, on the New South Wales Central Coast in 1971. It is represented in most major markets in North and South East Asia, the Pacific Islands and in the Middle East through a network of distributors and retailers servicing all market segments including Supermarkets, Convenience Stores, Food service / Catering (HORECA) and restaurant chains.
Sara Lee Bakery operates by two main principles. The first is to produce a range of cakes, desserts, and pastries to the highest possible standard using the finest ingredients, whatever the cost. Secondly, to be an efficient, low cost producer, so that their products are priced within the reach of everyone.
The company’s policy on the use of any raw material is to follow government food laws, while ensuring that high quality products are produced in line with consumer preferences, using only those ingredients that are both legal and acceptable to an increasingly discerning public.
