SunRice sources rice for processing and marketing globally under the SunRice brand portfolio and subsidiary brands. SunRice's history traces back to the establishment of Ricegrowers Co-operative Mills Limited in 1950.

SunRice has had a long association with Australian agriculture and the land. It formed in 1950 when early rice growers pooled funds to establish a co-operative and built a much-needed rice mill at Leeton in the Riverina.
