Bollicine Biance

The first release of their new sparkling white wine which has been bottle fermented.The wine is ideal for any celebration calling for sparkling, hence the name Bollicine Biance which is Italian for white bubbles.

2006 Orange Muscat Chardonnay

This crisp dry white is mostly Orange Muscat with a little Chardonnay in an unoaked style. It has fresh orange blossom peachstone fruit aromas. The palate is finely structured with citrus fruit flavours and a lively dry finish.

2008 Pinot Grigio

This wine is made from the Italian variety Pinot Grigio. It has a lovely straw colour with slight peach hues and a cashew and pear aroma. A perfect accompaniment to any white meat or vegetable dish.

2006 Sangiovese Scarecrow

The fruit for this wine comes from the oldest vines of Sangiovese planted in 1998.Cherry/garnet in colour and the nose is reminiscent of cherries, anise, tar and spice. The palate has a softness which belies the real structure. The wine is multi-layered with savoury fruit flavours and soft tannins.

2004 Merlot Cabernet

This is a 60:40 blend of the two major varieties grown in Bordeaux. This wine is very drinkable now with most red and darker meats, also pasta dishes and cheese.Cellaring for another 4-5 years will deliver a lovely balanced dry red.This is a 60:40 blend of the two major varieties grown in Bordeaux.

2005 Cabernet Merlot

This is a 50:50 blend. The soft plum fruit-flavours of the Merlot are enhanced by the tannin and length provided with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is very drinkable now with most meats and pasta dishes.

2004 Shiraz

An elegant flavoursome Shiraz from low-cropped vines. Deep crimson in colour, the bouquet displays peppery spices and plums, cherries and bay leaves.
